Thank you so much for your advice, my son is 5 and has mild autism. He is also highly verbal but has such a hard time processing what I am saying. I started slowing my speech down just out of instinct and it really helped him. I will start trying all your other tips when talking to him. Again thank you for taking the time to share with us things that can make such a big difference in our children’s lives.
