The Summer Olympics and Paralympics kick off in London on July 27

I could not resist working Olympic into the title of our monthly engagement post.  I hope everyone reading this has electric power restored by now!  We were knocked out for almost a week.  So, I’m waayyyy behind on blogging…

Thursday, July 12  What would communicators do without cell phones, faxes, and television?  The Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC commemorates the 50th anniversary of global communications with a free symposium this afternoon; it will also be broadcast live online.  Follow @airandspace on Twitter.

Also today is Moon Day.  Yes, it is.  Well, you’ve heard of Earth Day, right?  So today is Moon Day: the day a person first walked on the moon.  That was Neil Armstrong, in 1969.  Pretty big deal.  And how do you celebrate Moon Day?  Well, at Fletcher Prince, we celebrate it by eating Moon Pies, if you want to know.
